- What are the benefits of sending items through SendSocial?

- As a sender, we simplify the postal process for you. All you need to do is let us know who you want to send an item to, print a label from our website then sit back and wait for our delivery partners to do the rest - you don't even need to write down an address.
- One of my friends is trying to send me something through SendSocial - what should I do?

- If you know the sender well and are happy to accept the item, you should follow the instructions in the email to accept the item. Your friend may not have your address, or may simply want to surprise you with something special. Because we never reveal your address to the sender, you can be confident that your details are safe.
- I've been sent an anonymous request

- The nature of SendSocial means that your important personal details - contact information and address - are never disclosed to anyone but our delivery partners. This means that you can accept anonymous requests without having to worry about being pestered in the future. SendSocial is 100% safe, and, whilst we always recommend reviewing all requests before accepting them, can ensure that accepting an item from an anonymous sender won't cause you any trouble.
- How can I send something without knowing the recipient's address?

- We've developed some intelligent systems that allow parcels to be delivered without the sender having to know the receiver's address. When somebody accepts your request, we ask them for their delivery details. We then convert this into a barcode that is read by one of our delivery partners. This creates less hassle for you and ensures that the recipient is in control of their important personal details at all times.
- How do I pay for deliveries?

- Payment is taken over the SendSocial website, and we accept all major credit and debit cards.
- Where can I send items to?

- At the moment, SendSocial is only available in the UK, however we're working on expanding into other territories.
- How should I package my item?

- We recommend packaging items well to ensure that they aren't damaged in the post. Our advice on how best to wrap items can be found here.
- Can I send items that are fragile?

- Yes, but some items, such as glassware, are exempt from compensation if they break in the post. A full list of exempt items can be found here.
- Is there anything that I can't send through SendSocial?

- Whilst we accept most items, there are some things which we are unable to deliver. A full list of prohibited items can be found here.
